If you suffer from any pain, disease, fatigue, stress, or the effects of ageing, you may have just found the answer you've been searching for. Yoga in partnership with Ayurvedic medicine, are sciences which have developed over the past two millennia into successful modern day methods of healing that rival Western medical practices. All inflammatory and 'hot' illnesses, ranging from dermatitis, hepatitis, and arthritis through to tendonitis, thyroiditis, and colitis can benefit from the cooling effects of the remedies provided by Yoga and Ayurveda. These disciplines may help stop the spread of cancer, help you recover more quickly from strenuous exercise, and reduce the plaque that can lead to vascular Alzheimer's disease.

The knowledge of healing in Ayurveda is unlike that of Western medicine's, which is based on biochemistry. Yogic and Ayurvedic medical thinking (which is strongly rooted in Vedic and Buddhist principles) views the human body as being governed by an elaborately organised system of energies which flow through a network of channels. There are textbooks which codify and detail this intricate system. The medications and treatments used are comprised of herbs, roots, minerals and also incorporate food, exercise and massage.
 
The claims about the benefits of Vedic medicine, for treating patients with a variety of ailments, ranging from paralysis to heart disease, are not propaganda for alternative medicine, but are based on a thorough, objective understanding of an ancient interpretation of human physiology, and a compelling investigation into an alternative approach to healing that has helped millions of people unlock their inner health, healing, natural beauty, higher energy and happiness.
