Green Apple Chutney

• Grate apple
• Salt apple for taste
• Squeeze by hand to take out the water
 
In Oil, heat
Mustard seed      1 tsp
Clove                   2 tsp
Cardamom          2 tsp
Cinnamon           2 tsp
Black pepper       to taste
Asfoetida             pinch
Dry, red chilli       to taste
 
Place the apple pieces in the oil and stif fry for 5 mins, or till it becomes dry.
Add sugar of equal volume to the fruit.
Cook until it becomes dry.
 
Taste
 
Adds chilli powder or salt to taste.
