Nirvana's Delicious Pesto Sauce

Cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil - 1 tbs
Pine nuts - 2 tbs
Fresh basil leaves - 2 cups, without stems
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt - to taste
Black pepper - freshly ground, to taste
Cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil - 1/4 cup extra
Heat 1 tbs oil and on a gentle heat, toss the pine nuts until light brown.
Drain and discard the oil.
Process the basil leaves in a blender/food processor together with the pine nuts, garlic, pepper and seasoning.
While still processing, pour the rest of the olive oil in slowly until incorporated.
This is delicious on pasta, or steamed vegetables such as cauliflower and zucchini.
