Raw Cacao Mousse (vegan)

Avacado                                               1, ripe
Raw Cacao                                           2 Tbsp
Honey, Rice Syrup or Maple Syrup      2 Tbsp
Vanilla bean paste                                1 tsp
Salt                                                        Pinch
 
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth, or mash avacado with a fork before adding remaining ingredients.
- Chill 2-4 hours before serving.
Makes approximately 1 cup.
Enjoy with nuts or dried fruit of your choice (optional).
 
Cacao, with the great taste of chocolate, is a powerful antioxidant, and is also a source of vitamin C, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. This supports healthy mental and emotional functioning, healthy energy metabolism as well as helping to combat exhaustion. It is also a source of fibre to keep you regular.
