COURSE RATIONALE AND OVERVIEW

Wellness > self > workplace > community > world

The world has already reached an evolutionay "tipping point" in terms of both higher consciousness and ecological breakdown. That tipping point is right now. It is the point at which you can align your unique way of being a human with the Wholeness that cares about all of life, and answer the call to be a world citizen, a new way of being that is already coming alive in and among us, and where you can make things right by being the change.

There is also a way in which the unfoldment of our lives, moment by moment, is a series of tipping points in which we can choose again and again to become more conscious, healthy and integrated human beings. This is how we transform ourselves and each other. A remarkable coherent and rich "we-space" of conscious individuals already exists in the world. It is not too late to join us in your journey. Finding your unique purpose is an integral part of responsibility facing our global predicament. You can really and truly be one of the heroes who can make a difference in this challenging time.

Gain the skills and knowledge to lead and manage organisations and enhance your career opportunities with Health Institute Australasia's nationally recognised Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB51918).

The Diploma of Leadership and Management provides knowledge and skills to work in leadership and management roles across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. It assists you to develop initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring your own workload and the workload of others. It also develops communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements and strategies to plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems and to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

It is thus ideal for individuals aiming to seek or undertake management and leadership roles to either further develop their own leadership and management skills or those aiming to managing their own business. The Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification accommodates both individuals with no formal training qualifications and those seeking an entry point for transition into further education. It provides a general overview of business operational essentials.

The Diploma of Leadership and Management will provide you with the training you need to work within the business environment in a variety of roles such as:

  • Frontline Managers
  • Middle Managers
  • Supervisors
  • Business Operators.

This course covers topics including:

  • Enlightened Leadership: Leading and managing workplace/workforce and employee relationships
  • Conflict Resolution, Communication Training and Team effectiveness
  • Management of Self and Employee Performance
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning
  • Risk Management
  • Facilitation of continuous improvement

You will:

Learn what it takes to counteract a digital age that reverse-engineers our neurological hardwiring and hijacks our attention and capacity to care.

Synthesise personal and interpersonal practice with the outer work of service, politics, social entrepreneurship and ecological living

Transform grief and heartbreak into joy and contribution via a practical understanding of the deep, inner work which is so curcial for catalysing the holistic, whole-system change the world needs.

Awaken to your roleas a creative participant in a larger natural process, capable of self transformation and healing.

Embrace the radical practice of wholeness, a subversive and healing act in our age of fragmentation.

Learn to sustain the positive contribution you have already made, or plan to make, for the long haul.

Clarify the evolutionary perspective of differentiation and integration and the consequential things you can do now to counter the scenario of our global crises of doom and gloom and support creative and auspicious change.

Explore the nature of how worldwide views shape perception and attitudes and recognise those in play in our world today, how they interact and clash, and examine how an integral approach to change can enrich the ways we act, organise, and reach across political and cultural barriers to transcend, include and transform everyday situations, from the polarised perspectives that dominate our news to difficult family gatherings.
