Feeling the weight of being, of ageing, or spactisticy can be greatly alleviated by utilising the attributes of the skeleton, with the breath, which includes the free power of leverage and effortless support. However, when these attributes of the skeleton and breath are ignored, as they often are, it leads to exaggerated feelings of heaviness and lethagy. Accepting these positive gifts of the skeleton leads to feelings of lightness, supported strength and stability.
We will investigate transferring weight for the function of stepping and standing and increasing the overall awareness and experience of the skeleton. The movements in this workshop are easy and fun.
