Course overview:
Yoga Teacher Training is Yoga for Perfect Health. It is for anyone who is fascinated by the depth of wisdom that is Yoga and wishes to make it a more intrinsic part of their lives. This course provides the core base of knowledge necessary for a strong foundation and understanding of the concepts and practices that collectively make up what is known as Shanti Yoga™. It marries theory with practice. Supporting lectures and study of yogic concepts include the understandings of Yoga, the spiritual path to self-realisation from
its starting point, its ethics, philosophy, psychology, physical disciplines etc.

Certificate IV in Yoga Education emphases imparting the practical aspects first. Facing problems with health, stress and fatigue is the doorway through which most people enter Yoga. Soon they get more interested in its underlying principles and esoteric philosophy and are willing to take on Yoga as a complete lifestyle. Enrolment indicates an understanding of the multi-level comprehensive Yoga Studies towards life management and a career path, as outlined in the student manual. The curriculum is comprehensive and wholistic.
Conducted nationally, the courses are available for government subsidies in the form of Austudy, study loans etc. The system provides training material in the form of course notes and training manuals, course texts, audio and visual materials as outlined.
