Dear reader
It seems like our world is going to open up a little soon, and I am hopeful that as many people as possible can get to visit their loved ones.

As our societies reopen, some of us are eager to come out of 'retreat'. Many of us have come to the realisation that we are in need of many things: fun, resources, socialising and companionship, fresh air, play, work, and much more. And yet, many of us also feel cautious about the “long tail” effects of this pandemic, which are still ahead. These are still the early days. Something is dying, and something new will be born. How long is its gesticulation period?

The collective shock wave rippling through our world, our reptilian and mammalian nervous systems, our friends, our families, our livelihoods, our communities and all our social systems is stirring up forgotten forces at the very depths of our being. However, perhaps this situation is not a calamity, but a natural process. These are the first stages of every initiatory rite of passage.

We are living during a wild time. The world is changing now, rapidly and radically. Humanity is facing impossible challenges, and we are also seeing the emergence of a new human culture. When faced with any life challenges, our intentions, narratives, and sense of purpose are also challenged. The crisis endangering all that we love speaks to our actions, everyday decisions, relationships and career. Interestingly, this is happening on a global scale, resonating as a collective question about our priorities as a species, or a planet. What is at stake for each of us and humanity. Which of our ways of being no longer serve us?

Let us explore how we can be the change together.
When we are in transition, in liminal space, having been taken out of our 'previous' lives, with our ability to provide, protect and produce seriously disrupted, we are in a kind of limbo, and one of the feelings that arise is disorientation.
You’ve undoubtedly heard many times (and intuited) that things will never be the same. Perhaps it is not just a metaphor. We’ve been plunged into a global rite of passage. But this will only be a sacred initiation if we relate to it not just with reverence, but also with radical humour, openhearted curiosity, and truth. To be sane together, even amidst so much dis-heartedness and craziness, invites radical trust, so that we can transmute our individual and collective frozen emotions whatever they may be, our grief, fear and outrage, on behalf of the wellbeing of our human family.

As the profound questions and their implications unfold, we open to a rich contemplative exploration. Who will we choose to be? This is a wisdom question. It can't be answered quickly and superficially, nor finally or absolutely. It is a profound and durable koan. To answer it adequately, we must let ourselves be changed by this rite of passage. This is a precious gift - both to us, and to those we touch.
Life is full of flavour and goodness. We can relax into this sacred, divine life process. For our homecoming, we need each other. Transforming with others, being acknowledged, welcomed, and appreciated by a tribe of like-minded and like-hearted souls enhances this flavour.

Our Centre offers a fundamental relationship to our collective moment, and a path towards empowerment. Come and join practices you can do that activate life-affirming patterns in your life to incubate leadership and creativity and catalyse deeper ways of being whole. We meet you in deep friendship, with endless hope.
Blessings and Namaste,

Gardening

Nirvana's therapeutic and kitchen gardens continue by trial, error and flexible participation. They serve the purpose of social experiments so that we evolve real authentic ways of advancing. From the texture of the soil between your fingers, to gripping a weed to pull it out from the bed, to seeing tendrils and leaves coming up in rows from the earth, it’s all …
