Yoga is a complete and integrated practice of movement and contemplation as well as an agent for education which can help people through every stage of their lives, from childhood to the advancing years. It is one of the fastest-growing health and wellness interests in the world.
Shanti Yoga programs are an extensive exploration of classical yoga's varied toolbox. Shanti Yoga has revived various dimensions of this ancient science that are largely absent in the world today. These programs offer an unparalleled opportunity to provide natural, mind-body treatments for improving health, well-being, and spirituality that are low-tech, and generally very safe.
Yoga does not mean twisting your body, standing on your head, or holding your breath. The form of 'studio' yoga most people are learning today is not in its classical form, not in its full depth and dimension. Meditation is an essential part of the practice. To live in the moment, to dwell in the harmony of things, and to awaken are moments in your life when there is an openness, a spacious quality to your existence. These are the moments that truly make life remarkable.
Health is a side benefit of classical yoga, which is a powerful and comprehensive system to prepare the system for a cosmic download and experience oneness in your consciousness. To experience this unity within you, you must work with guiding principles, the body (asana), the breath (pranayama), the senses, (pratyahara) deepening the intellect (dharana, dhyana), and then (through the practice of the four levels of samadhi) move to the inner self.
The Yoga Sutra is the living source of wisdom of the yoga tradition. Using it as a guide, you can unlock the hidden power of yoga, and experience the promise of yoga in your life.

• Our Heart and Soul Community Choir being invited to come together in song to contribute to National Reconciliation Week 2023 (from Saturday 27 May – Saturday 3 June). The theme: Be a voice for Generations, urging us to act for a more just, equitable, and reconciled country for all. The song we will all be singing isFrom Little Things Big Things Growby Paul Kelly and Kev Carmody.















• The Little Pocket Nature Play program for the families and young children of Beechmont where all who attend are encouraged to play, create, connect, and respect as they explore different pockets of nature in our beautiful community. Deepening connection to place and nature, to craft and play was highly successful at Nirvana Wellbeing Retreat.
