WHAT IS THE SHANTI YOGA METHOD?

The Shanti Yoga method is a unique, effective mind-body path of practice that encompasses a genuine encounter with all of who you are, as well as all of who you take yourself to be.

It invites you to embody a warm, holding presence, an unflinching capacity to fundamentally welcome and be all of the beautiful and messy aspects that encompass human living. Your sweat, tears, pain, shame, cosmic loneliness, trauma, dark impulses, power, joy are all included. The clear seeing that comes from this kind of radical welcoming presence, ushers in compassion, stress ease, insight, laughter, and deep relief from the game, trap or prison of the personal, emotions, and thoughts, the disowned, unwanted unloved parts of yourself begin to come home, to a space that does not refuse them. We offer them a place in your heart, mind and being that is free from the struggle and inner violence of self-refusal. In this way, we begin to rest. We all share a longing for this simple, welcoming, presence in which to meet our tenderness, vulnerabilities, hopes and fears, whatever the cause.
