Springtime is a busy time in nature! As the flowers start to blossom, we're reminded of spring's opportunity for renewal and rebirth. As our bodies follow nature’s surge of energy, our own energy levels start to increase and the senses of freshness, movement, cleansing, and rejuvenation start to emerge. Sunlight is steadily returning. After battling the brisk cold, all winter long, our bodies could be unprepared for the sudden rise in temperature, and this could result in us getting sick.

Transitioning out of winter, we shed what has weighed us down to enable us to move forward with greater clarity. As in nature, we can let go of all that is not needed and make room for new growth. Now is the perfect time to integrate the lightness and energy of spring into your body, mind, and spirit.

An Ayurvedic detox for spring can help ward off colds, touches of flu, and other spring conditions. It is also essential for spring cleaning. Spring is the best time of the year to cleanse and detoxify. It's time to say goodbye to the rich desserts and heavy comfort foods which will only serve to clog us up at this time of year. Instead, lighter recipes take centre stage and will help flush away the excess of winter.

We have trained therapists who are committed to providing the best quality traditional Ayurvedic treatments and we use the best quality oils and medicines. Health Care packages include residential Rejuvenation, Relaxation and Detoxification packages, Weight loss, and Stress Management (inclusive of Yoga and Meditation). Non-residential programs are also available from our Shanti Yoga centre in Southport.
