Dear reader

There is a lot of suffering happening all over the world right now, and we face a myriad of challenges, locally and internationally. When nothing works quite as it did before, what if we were to float the thought that to live a heartfelt life we must let go of the hard life? What if these lockdowns present the most sacred of times, and provide us with magical weapons which we don't as yet understand, but which we will need to save our lives and the world. A reprieve from travel, from buying and selling and consumerism, that just allows us to stop the world and let the earth catch her breath.
Knowing that our lives are in one another's hands, we reach out with all the tendrils of compassion that move invisibly, where we cannot reach out our hands and touch each other physically. We centre down within and reach each other with our hearts and words, promising the world our love, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health as long as we all shall live.

Nothing we can do to help another is too small. Witnessing one act of kindness spurs hope and inspires each of us to extend kindness to others. Engaging, participating, and actually enjoying the fun of self-world-care stimulates the growth that in reality has already started in our forever-changing world.

May love go with you wherever you go.

Blessings and namaste,
Shanti

We are obviously experiencing the start of spring. Wandering around the retreat property, it’s impossible not to notice all the spring blooms appearing on the trees, the bees happily foraging from this abundance of new forage… and we can even hear some cicadas.

Spring is such an incredible time. We have yet another opportunity to reduce doom, gloom, and stress, clear energy stagnation, and connect with life’s energy. Divinity is manifest everywhere. The divine breath heaves in the wind, smiles at us through leaves and flowers, and the love and peace that grow in the garden of human hearts are reflective of wholesomeness and divine beauty.
