MENTAL HEALTH and SACRED REST

These are momentous worldly times we are all experiencing. Many people are aware of the escalating mental health crisis, encourage open conversation about it, knowing that affects us all, and are looking to reduce the stigma associated with mental health. Yet so many don’t know where to start and what to do about it and feel overwhelmed with all the social pressures around it.
|
We are all too aware of the plethora of individuals teaching workshops in things they know very little about. Many of them are playing with fire, with little training in working with the trauma material that emerges in their followers. If you don’t have enough of a foundation to hold yourself safe, you may be easily seduced by many of the flakey ‘masters’ dressed in guru garb, artificial forgiveness and pseudo-positive proponents, name-changing new age gurus and many who practice in these areas who present themselves as healers. Remember that spiritual healers and yoga celebrities are now industries, with little regard for your wellbeing and are ripe with manipulation and projection. Be vigilant and surround yourself with solid, integrated, emotionally mature practitioners who understand the delicate nature of mental health and trauma.

CHILDREN'S YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
|
7,14,21, 28 November 2022
|
This is a 200-hour course. Face-to-face, in-person workshop tutorials will be conducted during 4 afternoons on the 7, 14, 21, and 28 November 2022, at 2:30 pm. To obtain certification, you will be required to pay the full fee for the course which is $2995, have a blue card to work with children, actively conduct 10 sessions in your own environment over the next 6 months, and pass an assessment.
