Life After Gallbladder Removal
November 1, 2026Dearest Friend,
As we reflect on recent events, including the attack on Helen Haines in Wangaratta, it is natural to feel troubled by the growing division around us. In these moments, I am so warmly reminded of the beautiful, core teaching, “Love your neighbour as yourself,” which aligns so wonderfully with the practice of ahimsa.
Yoga gently invites us to express our deeper selves, through our everyday actions. Every person is essentially divine. Every small choice we make is a loving vote for the person we aspire to be. Simply choosing not to project what is hateful and hurtful onto others, and making efforts to act towards one another with loving-kindness, is just as vital to our spiritual journey as any sacred study or prayer, or asana.
Sacred service and generosity naturally flow from recognising the interdependence of all life, with compassion serving as the foundation for living acts of kindness and righteousness. By carrying a message of love, we preserve the best of our human experience.
However, when we are stuck in fear, worry, or overwhelm, it is difficult to see the possibilities and solutions right in front of us. To shift our energy, raise our frequency and return to a state where we can receive the guidance we need to get in touch with our feelings. One of the fastest ways to reconnect is through gratitude.
Thank you for continuing to radiate your light so generously. When we offer our help and compassion, we honour the deep, sacred connection we all share. Caring for those around us truly brings out the sweetest essence of our shared human experience.
To foster unity in a divided world, our shared call is to connect with the divine within and honour the sacred in one another. Namaste.
With my unlimited blessings,
Lovingly,
Shanti
